black and white

We have been going through serious cooking withdrawals, so last night we cracked open our favorite Baked cookbook and whipped up some black and white cookies. I have been wanting them ever since this lovely lady sang their praises. Of course after making a few of the traditional frosted cookies we couldn't resist trying some variations of our own.

    this is so awesome! i've never actually had a black and white cookie... but i have that cookbook.... so i think the time has come to make some.
