We didn't know it but all that was left was the ghost of Route 66.

    This series of photos is crazy good. And, once again, I'm jealous of your road tripping abilities. For my trip to Utah in July, I'm considering flying into Seattle and taking a couple days to make my way to SLC so I can say I got one in this summer.

    i am torn. am i feeling a scream of terror rising in my throat with these images, or am i feeling the welling tears of nostalgia and sentiment??

    I recently stayed in the wigwam motel during my SoCal trip! It was nice but sad to see such dilapidation.
